BETA OMICRON SIGMA ALUMNI CHAPTER

Welcome

It is an honor to greet you on behalf of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated - Beta Omicron Sigma (BOS) Alumni Chapter! Welcome to our new and improved website. I encourage you to spend some time reviewing our programs, initiatives, and our causes. Our focus has always been and will continue to be community service. We are unwavering in our efforts to improve the lives of young African American boys and teens; promoting and growing black-owned businesses; educating black men on the power of mental and physical health; and cultivating a desire to participate in the legislative process.

We’ve determined that having a voice is important, but taking action is power! To that end, the brothers of BOS are committed to being:

PRESENT in the community,
HYPER-FOCUSED on executing our programs at a high level, and
IMPACTFUL in the lives of everyone we touch.

Inherent in keeping these commitments require a steadfast love for and responsibility to being “Our Brother’s Keeper.” We will respect and honor the FOUNDERS of our wondrous band and those brothers who CREATED the paths that we so freely walk. We will acknowledge and thank those brothers who CARRIED the weight and burden of ensuring that our work and legacy did not cease. And we will work tirelessly to CULTIVATE the minds of the future by strengthening our Sigma Beta Club and supporting, mentoring, and investing in our collegiates.

You will also hear more about the work of our foundation, SIGMA614. Our Chapter’s nonprofit has been around for two decades and has extended the work of our hands. SIGMA614 has been able to connect with corporate donors, which allows us to feed more families, give more scholarships, and assist more people with their financial needs.

As I conclude, let me borrow a statement from our International President, Hon. Chris V. Rey, J.D., “It’s a new day in Sigma! I was elected to be the change agent, to push our Sigma Chapter to achieve at the highest levels.”
